Overview

We are partnering with a fast-growing, VC-backed Web3 company based in Dubai that is building next-generation decentralised products across blockchain infrastructure, DeFi, and digital assets. This is an opportunity to join at a formative stage and play a key role in shaping core protocol and application architecture.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Blockchain Developer with strong Web3 fundamentals who thrives in a start-up environment, values ownership, and is comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous problem spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts on Ethereum and/or other EVM-compatible blockchains
• Build and maintain decentralised applications (dApps) and Web3 integrations
• Collaborate with product, backend, and frontend teams to deliver secure, scalable blockchain solutions
• Conduct smart contract testing, auditing support, and gas optimisation
• Contribute to architectural decisions around protocols, tooling, and infrastructure
• Stay current with emerging Web3 standards, tooling, and security best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience as a Blockchain / Web3 Developer
• Proficiency in Solidity (or Rust for Solana-based environments)
• Hands-on experience with Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, or similar networks
• Experience with Web3.js, Ethers.js, or similar libraries
• Solid understanding of smart contract security, audits, and common attack vectors
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols, NFTs, DAOs, or Layer 2 solutions
• Strong engineering fundamentals and clean, testable code practices

Nice to Have

• Experience with Rust, Substrate, or non-EVM chains
• Exposure to ZK-rollups, L2 scaling, or cross-chain solutions
• Prior experience in VC-backed or early-stage start-ups
• Tokenomics or protocol-level design exposure
