Talent Pool – BIM Coordinator supporting buildings, villas, mixed-use developments, and theme park projects across the Middle East, ensuring effective implementation of BIM processes in line with project standards and requirements. Coordinates multidisciplinary BIM models, manages model integration, clash detection, and data exchange between design, engineering, and construction teams. Supports project delivery through digital coordination, model quality control, and collaboration to ensure accurate, efficient, and buildable project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain the Post-Contract BIM Management Plan / BEP.
- Review and Approve the Post-Contract BIM Execution Plan for all project appointed parties within its scope.
- Create, maintain, and manage a single point central database that hosts all models and their content in direct control of the BIM Project Manager
- Manage and implement interface management between project assets.
- Set-up CDE for related project as per EIR. Providing the necessary training to consultants and contractors in the use of the BIM CDE.
- Onboarding (BIM kick-off) meetings with consultants and contractors (Lead / Attend).
- Manage and Monitor Consultants and Contractor BIM reports.
- Ensure LOIN delivered in the models are as per deliverables requirements of the relevant stage of the project.
- Report to client on an on-going basis the status of BIM processes on projects through an integrated dashboard.
- Maintain BIM-related risks and issues in the overall Project Risk Register and develop their mitigation strategies.
- Maintain a federated model for the respective scope containing latest model version of all projects.
- Record lesson learned and sharing with the relative parties.
- Review models with the Project team leaders and engineers in order to highlight if any design issues
- Receive and manage the construction phase information provided by the contractor’s BIM models
- Enforce reliability of the BIM Model’s information so that it is an accurate representation of as built construction
- Regularly audit, integration and validate information to ensure BIM model is robust.
- Manage quality and quantity model information.
- Provide clash detection
- Maintain a data base of all BIM elements, standards, families, and 2D / 3D content
- Coordinate submission and exchange of Models
- Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, BIM management Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
- Coordinate with regional office for technical support required to ensure the correctness and completeness of the information production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Engineering from a recognized university.
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor Consultant.
- Must have experience with ISO 19650.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience coupled with at least 5 years’ experience in BIM Implementation on major projects or program.
- Proficient with BIM authoring and proprietary software applications such as: Revit, Civil 3D, AECOsim, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Navisworks, Cost X, Synchro, BIM collaboration or similar applications Possess
- Excellent English communication.
- Excellent writing skills in preparing letters, technical instructions, analytical reports, and presentations.
