Aircraft Mechanic

STS Aviation Services is hiring Aircraft Mechanics in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

This role is designed for experienced aviation maintenance professionals with a strong working knowledge of aircraft systems. The Aircraft Mechanic will perform inspections, repairs, servicing, troubleshooting, and component replacements while ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.

About The Role

The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for carrying out aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, servicing, and component replacements in accordance with approved maintenance procedures, regulatory requirements, and company standards.

This position requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with engineers and maintenance teams in a busy aircraft maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs, servicing, and component replacements in accordance with approved procedures, regulatory requirements, and company standards
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose aircraft systems, components, and structures
• Determine and implement appropriate corrective actions based on inspection and troubleshooting findings
• Remove, install, and replace aircraft components and systems
• Ensure correct component fitment, testing, and compliance with approved maintenance procedures
• Complete aircraft servicing tasks, including lubrication, fluid replenishment, functional checks, torqueing, safety wiring, and rigging
• Work closely with engineers and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues
• Maintain accurate aircraft maintenance records and documentation
• Report aircraft defects, unsafe conditions, and workplace hazards to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean, organised, and FOD-free work area
• Follow proper tool control and equipment management procedures
• Comply with all health, safety, quality, regulatory, and company procedures
  
  

Skills And Experience

• Completion of a formal aircraft maintenance apprenticeship or equivalent trade qualification
• Minimum of five years’ aircraft maintenance experience
• Good working knowledge of aircraft systems
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
