71- Hospitality And Management Internship April May

This is your chance to have a traineeship in Iceland. We are a highly reviewed and busy B&B with guests coming from all over the world and we managed to create a “home away from home” for them.

We are looking for a trainee who is energetic/interested in interacting with our customers and who wants to support us in our daily tasks. Your main tasks will be communicating with the customers, giving them advice, answering their requests, and managing the house. It will be a combination of office and housekeeping work.

This is a great opportunity if you are eager enough to work independently and efficiently to maintain our high rate of sales and reviews. All your ideas are very welcome and appreciated.

The internship begins in April/May 2025. The stay is 3-9 months.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  
• Fluency in other languages is a plus
  
• Interest and basic experience in hospitality and customer service
  
• Sales-driven mindset and logical thinking
  
• Basic knowledge of marketing and business
  
• Creative writer, blog/article writing
  

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Dealing and communicating with international guests daily
  
• Ensuring customer satisfaction
  
• Assisting with reservations through various online platforms
  
• Replying to guest reviews on channels like TripAdvisor, etc.
  
• Collecting ideas, comments, and complaints from guests
  
• Writing blog posts and articles
  
• Ensuring guest rooms and common areas maintain a high standard of cleanliness
  
• Upon successful completion of the daily routines and basic responsibilities, more tasks can be assigned in the field of marketing or other fields of interest
