3D Animation Artist

An individual is seeking a skilled 3D Animator to produce an 8–10 minute Christmas-themed animated short film. This remote project will be created using Blender and is based on a professionally written screenplay. The animator will be responsible for full production tasks including character animation, rigging, environment design, and rendering. The animation style should be stylized, family-friendly, and reminiscent of major holiday animations, with a strong emphasis on storytelling, visual appeal, and emotional tone. Candidates with experience syncing visuals to provided music or soundtracks, and who are comfortable working under an NDA, are preferred.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Blender, with experience in full 3D animation pipeline
• Strong skills in character animation, rigging, environment creation, and rendering
• Demonstrated ability to produce stylized, cinematic animation for family audiences
• Familiarity with lighting and texturing techniques to create a magical holiday atmosphere
• Experience with syncing animation to music or sound design
• Strong visual storytelling ability
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote creative team
• Willingness to sign a non-disclosure agreement
• Availability to complete an 8–10 minute animated film within the agreed timeline
