Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrine Centre (ICLDEC) is a global leader in diabetes and endocrine treatment, education and research. Established in 2006 by Mubadala in partnership with Restricted the UK’s Imperial College London, the Centre specializes in treating all types of diabetes and endocrine disorders, as well as focusing on diabetes research, training, and public health awareness. The Centre, which operates four branches across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra, has gained international recognition for its holistic approach to the treatment of diabetes and related complications that enables patients to receive the full spectrum of care in one place.

Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrine Centre (ICLDEC) is seeking an experienced Specialist Endocrinologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong clinical background in endocrinology and metabolic disorders, delivering high‑quality care in an ambulatory and outpatient-focused environment. The role includes patient consultations, diagnostic evaluation, chronic disease management, and participation in the center’s clinical rotations when required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive endocrine consultations and follow-up care for adult patients.
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine and metabolic conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal disease, pituitary conditions, and hormonal imbalances.
  • Support chronic disease management through evidence-based, patient-centered care.
  • Collaborate closely with diabetologists, educators, dietitians, and other specialists to ensure integrated care.
  • Participate in on‑call duties or clinical rotations as required by the center.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree with recognized specialty qualification in Endocrinology.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of post‑qualification experience in endocrinology or internal medicine with endocrine focus.
  • Strong clinical expertise in managing chronic endocrine conditions in outpatient settings.
  • Excellent communication, diagnostic, and teamwork skills.
  • DOH Specialist Endocrinologist licensure or eligibility.
