Job Description
This opportunity is part of AECOM’s Fursa Program and open exclusively to UAE Nationals holding a
valid family book.
AECOM is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in procurement and administration to contribute to our projects in the region.
Procurement Coordination:
- Assist in the procurement process, including the preparation and issuance of purchase orders.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions.
Vendor Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating terms and conditions.
- Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, contracts, and related files.
- Generate reports on procurement activities for management review.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement.
Communication:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as project managers and finance teams, to understand
procurement requirements.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to address inquiries and resolve issues.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration, Office or Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a professional services or engineering
environment.
- Proven experience in procurement or a related administrative role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Knowledge of procurement software/tools is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
