About The Role

At tashas, the guest experience begins long before the first coffee is served or the first dish arrives at the table. As a Host, you are the first person our guests meet and the last person they see when they leave. Your warmth, professionalism and attention to detail help create the welcoming atmosphere that defines the tashas experience.

We are looking for a confident and personable Arabic-speaking Host to join our team in Al Ain. In this role, you will ensure every guest feels genuinely welcomed, valued and cared for from the moment they arrive. You will manage guest flow, coordinate seating, support the front-of-house team and help create seamless service throughout the day.

Your Mission

You will be an ambassador for Inspired Hospitality, creating memorable first impressions and ensuring every guest feels comfortable, recognised and looked after. Through your professionalism, organisation and genuine care for people, you will help bring the tashas experience to life every day.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

  • Welcome guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Manage reservations, walk-ins and waitlists efficiently.
  • Escort guests to their tables and ensure smooth seating arrangements.
  • Provide accurate information about the menu and venue when required.
  • Handle guest enquiries with confidence and professionalism.
  • Maintain a positive, calm and solution-focused approach during busy periods.
  • Ensure every guest interaction reflects the values and standards of tashas.

Operations

  • Support the front-of-house team to ensure smooth daily service.
  • Assist in maintaining an organised and welcoming reception area.
  • Ensure menus are clean, presentable and readily available.
  • Monitor table availability and coordinate closely with service staff.
  • Assist with table setup, clearing and resetting when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the guest-facing areas.
  • Follow all operational procedures, grooming standards and company policies.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with managers and front-of-house team members to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Support new team members during onboarding and training.
  • Contribute positively to a culture of teamwork, respect and excellence.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, reliability and accountability at all times.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Adhere to company policies and local health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and workplace safety.
  • Follow all food safety and HACCP procedures where applicable.

What We’re Looking For

  • Fluent Arabic and English communication skills.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels or customer-facing roles is preferred.
  • A warm, engaging and professional personality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
