Assistant Storekeeper

We’re Hiring: Assistant Storekeeper
Location: Al Ain, UAE

Ali & Sons is looking for a reliable and organized Assistant Storekeeper to support the parts and warehouse operations for MG. The role is responsible for assisting with stock receiving, storage, inventory control, parts ordering, documentation, and warehouse organization while ensuring compliance with company SOPs and dealer standards.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Storekeeper in managing daily parts store and warehouse operations.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts against supplier invoices and documents.
• Report damaged, missing, or discrepant stocks and assist with related claims.
• Prepare and follow up on stock, VOR, STO, and local purchase orders.
• Coordinate with the PDC, Inventory Controller, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties on parts orders and shipments.
• Ensure accurate receiving, issuing, and recording of parts in SAP and physical inventory.
• Maintain proper warehouse locations, bin identities, and stock records for easy tracking.
• Assist with receiving and dispatching shipments and maintain required inward and outward records.
• Conduct periodic inventory counts and report stock variances, slow-moving, and defective parts.
• Ensure the warehouse, shelving, equipment, and stock are clean, organized, and secure.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, dealer standards, and warehouse procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the National Parts Manager.
   

Qualifications & Experience

• High School certificate or Diploma
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a storekeeping, warehouse, or parts-related role
• Experience within an automotive dealership or parts environment is preferred
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with inventory systems such as SAP is preferred
