About the Role:

As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing construction projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day operations at the construction site, coordinating with various teams and contractors, and ensuring that projects are completed within the specified timeline and budget. You will also be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the construction process.
 

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring timely completion.
• Coordinate and collaborate with various teams, including architects, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify any potential issues.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports and records.
• Manage and supervise the work of on-site construction personnel.
• Resolve any technical or engineering challenges that may arise during construction.
• Conduct quality control checks and ensure the use of high-quality materials.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress and any critical issues.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and address their concerns or queries.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for design and analysis.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Valid professional engineering license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Willingness to travel to construction sites as required.
