Production Planner

Purpose

The Production Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining production plans that align demand forecasts with available capacity, inventory targets, and operational efficiency. The role aims to balance customer service levels, minimize production disruptions, and optimize resource utilization across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update the daily production plan and circulate it to all relevant sections to ensure smooth operations.
• Extract and review sales order data from the system, ensuring that each item has an aligned and confirmed production plan.
• Evaluate sales orders to develop an efficient and feasible production schedule.
• Assess and validate the estimated materials, equipment, and manpower requirements across all production sections.
• Monitor production progress regularly and adjust schedules as necessary to adjust changes in demand or operational constraints.
• Communicate production schedules and any changes effectively to all relevant teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Analyze data and generate reports on production performance and inventory metrics.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the Food & Beverages industry.
• Technical Knowledge: -
• Strong understanding of production processes, inventory management, and end-to-end supply chain operations.
• In-depth knowledge of production forecasting, capacity planning, and production cost control techniques.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in the use of production planning software and ERP systems.
