Technical Business Planning Executive

Job Description

Ajman Municipality is seeking a Technical Business Planning Executive to join the Smart Services Development Department – Systems Analysis Section. The role is responsible for planning electronic systems design and development projects in accordance with the organization’s needs, while supporting systems development activities and following up on their operational and administrative requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify the organizational units’ requirements for systems, reports, and updates, in coordination with the Systems Analyst and Reports Analyst.
• Identify requirements for license renewals, technical support, and maintenance.
• Participate in preparing estimated budgets and systems development plans.
• Participate in preparing estimated budgets and follow up on obtaining, sorting, and evaluating quotations in coordination with the Procurement Section.
• Prepare and follow up on the issuance of purchase orders and the signing of contracts.
• Follow up on the receipt and operation of systems, and the approval of delivery notes and completion certificates.
• Follow up on the receipt and payment of invoices related to the section’s suppliers.
• Prepare correspondence and memoranda related to the section.
• Maintain paper and electronic archives of all section documents.
• Perform any other duties related to the position as required by business needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Fresh graduate.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
• Proficiency in using computers.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills.

Technical Competencies

• Knowledge of Information Technology and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Knowledge of IT databases.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure.
• Knowledge of IT programs and applications.
