Job Description

The Sales Engineer - HVAC is a pivotal role within our dynamic team, responsible for bridging the gap between technical expertise and sales prowess. As a Sales Engineer, you will lead initiatives to drive sales, primarily focusing on Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. You are expected to possess in-depth knowledge of HVAC solutions, tailoring them to meet customer requirements, and positioning our products as the optimal choice for both existing and potential clients. Your role is vital in understanding clients' technical needs, conveying complex technical information in a comprehendible manner, and providing solutions that meet clients' operational challenges. It’s crucial for candidates to bring strong analytical skills, a knack for negotiations, and stellar communication abilities to effectively represent our brand in a competitive market.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the HVAC sector.
  • Work collaboratively with the technical team to meet customer requirements efficiently.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to prospective customers.
  • Consult with customers after sales to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
  • Assist customers in selecting the best HVAC solutions for their needs and budgets.
  • Negotiate terms of sales agreements and close profitable deals with clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and inform future sales strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Provide training sessions and support to clients on the use of our HVAC products.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure the timely delivery of HVAC solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC sales or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a technical audience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events.
