Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiographer to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will perform routine radiographic procedures independently, adhering to departmental policies and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of radiographic examinations to produce high-quality images.
• Prepare and position patients for radiological procedures while considering their physical and psychological needs.
• Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff through best practices in radiation protection.
• Ensure accurate documentation of imaging identification and patient records.
• Assist in complex radiological examinations under the supervision of Radiologists and senior staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot radiology equipment and manage inventory of radiology supplies.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and emergency protocols.
• Provide clear explanations to patients to reduce anxiety and gain cooperation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Radiography, Radiology Technology, or Medical/Diagnostic Imaging program.
• Minimum of two (2) years of post-qualification experience in the general radiology field.
• Strong knowledge of radiation protection techniques and imaging protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient care.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with legal, professional, and organizational standards.
