Ajman Municipality is looking for a Principal Information Security Executive to join our dedicated team in Ajman. This full-time, on-site position plays a crucial role in safeguarding our information systems and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data within the Government Administration sector.

As a Principal Information Security Executive, you will oversee the development and implementation of security protocols and policies, while working closely with various departments to enhance our smart services. You will contribute to critical projects aimed at protecting sensitive information and driving the municipalitys commitment to technological advancement. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security strategies to protect against information security threats
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities
• Oversee the incident response plan and lead investigations into security breaches
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure compliance with security standards
• Educate staff on information security best practices and threat awareness
• Monitor security technologies and recommend improvements
• Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies and procedures
• Report to senior management on security incidents and recommend remedial actions

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 5 years of experience in information security or a related role
• Strong understanding of security principles and frameworks
• Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to convey complex information security concepts
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred
