Liaison Officer- Shipping And Ports

Our client is a leading FMCG trading company in the UAE, committed to delivering high-quality products across the region. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Liaison Officer to join their team and manage key relationships with ports, shipping lines, and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact between the company and ports, shipping lines, and government authorities in the UAE.
• Ensure smooth clearance of imports and exports, coordinating with customs and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor and track shipments, resolving any logistical or regulatory issues promptly.
• Maintain and expand strong relationships with key stakeholders in the shipping, logistics, and government sectors.
• Ensure compliance with UAE import/export regulations and company policies.
• Support internal teams with documentation, approvals, and regulatory requirements for seamless operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in liaison roles within FMCG, trading, or logistics sectors.
• Strong existing relationships with UAE ports, shipping lines, and government authorities.
• Excellent knowledge of UAE import/export regulations and procedures.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and resolve issues proactively.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
