Workshop Technician – Mechanical Workshop

Al Tariq is seeking a skilled Workshop Technician to join our Prototype Workshop team. This role is essential in manufacturing of components and sub-components according to the provided engineering drawings as well as basic supporting mechanical fabrication activities and ensuring high quality workmanship across ongoing production and development tasks.As a Workshop Technician, you will perform a variety of manual machining and mechanical workshop duties.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and scheduling of machine activities

Manufacture components within the specified tolerances.

Ensure that the machinery are 100% functional at all times.

Knowledge Grade 12 school qualification

Qualified as a manual Lathe and manual Milling Machine Operator

Expert in building different types of jigs

Basic Welding and fabrication skills

Key Skills Skilled in reading mechanical engineering drawings

Manufacture components within the specified tolerances

Capable to operate a variety of machinery within confidence
