Core Accountabilities
Adhere to and supports implementation of all policies and procedures related to SHEQ - PM&S department.
Plan, organize and coordinate all PM&S activities for all orders.
Lead the team of Maintenance Technicians, to ensure all PM&S activities are completed within the required time and quality.
Ensure all health, safety and environmental guidelines and policies are followed and adhered to. Identify and evaluate hazards in the PM&S area and take corrective actions.
Ensure that PM&S activities schedules are followed while achieving safety, cost and quality objectives.
Perform PM&S plan by accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress and resolving problems.
Provide guidance, on-job training and technical support to PM&S technicians on how to perform tasks, and establish work instructions/SOP’s accordingly.
Develop and submit daily reports on timely manner and regular updates about PM&S activities status.
Identify the required consumables, tools, fixtures, and equipment and other resources requirement to ensure to maintain the minimum stock level and continuity of operations.
Improve operating efficiency, reduce costs, identify unfavorable trends and take corrective action as required.
Respond to customers technical matters and interact with customer enquiries to ensure customers satisfaction.
Provide functional guidance to direct reports on a periodic basis.
Responsible for the conformity of the parts and weapons assembles.
Undertake performance review and feedback for assemblers.
Ensure that all the data uploaded to the ERP is accurately, and that all and PM&S records are up-to-date.
Participate in the maintenance team daily, weekly and monthly meetings.
Participate in Risk Assessment to identify all occupational health and safety hazards and environmental aspects and associated risks, and ensure effective measures are implemented to mitigate risks to acceptable level and identified actions are taken to materialize opportunities.
Work within the limits of authority as defined by the PM&S Team Leader.
Coordinate with PM&S Senior Officer the team annual leave, overtime, and training to ensure that labors’ capability is never a constraint.
Report to his line manager on progress of assigned tasks, status of daily delivery schedule and any risks, issues or obstacles.
Experience & Educational Qualifications
Technical Diploma in the relevant field is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing/Mechanical /Production) is preferred.
8 years of experience in weapon Maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
3-5 years supervising experience
Must have experience within weapons environment.
Experience in manual working such as filing, deburring and grinding.
Key Skills
Ability to prepare, understand and follow the work instructions and drawings.
With knowledge in ERP
Doesnt mind working outside Abu Dhabi and moving around the cities for field works.
Working knowledge of weapon Maintenance
