The Waterproofing Foreman is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the on-site execution of waterproofing systems for commercial, industrial, or residential projects. You will bridge the gap between project management and field operations, ensuring that crews apply membranes, sealants, and coatings with precision to prevent water intrusion.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who possesses deep technical knowledge of waterproofing materials and a commitment to rigorous quality control and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Crew Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of waterproofing technicians and laborers. Provide clear instructions and mentorship on-site.

• Technical Oversight: Ensure the correct application of various systems, including hot and cold-applied membranes, crystalline waterproofing, sheet goods (PVC/TPO), and specialty injections.

• Project Coordination: Review blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings to plan material needs and labor schedules.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of surface preparation and final applications to ensure they meet manufacturer specifications and local building codes.

• Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA standards and company safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and fall protection.

• Reporting: Maintain daily logs, track material usage, and report progress or delays to the Project Manager or Superintendent.

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical challenges on-site, such as unexpected site conditions or substrate failures.
