About The Role
This role supports the day-to-day operations of the Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) in BEACON RED, ensuring the continuous monitoring of global security events and risks affecting personnel traveling internationally. The position is responsible for tracking and communicating with staff in remote locations, maintaining situational awareness through accurate reporting and monitoring, and supporting responses to security, safety, and operational incidents as part of a 24/7 travel security framework.
Responsibilities
- Monitor global intelligence feeds, security alerts, and GSOC systems to identify and assess risks affecting personnel traveling internationally.
- Maintain real-time situational awareness of global security, geopolitical, health, environmental, and operational developments impacting travel.
- Act as the first point of contact for detecting, verifying, escalating, and responding to incidents involving overseas personnel.
- Conduct traveler welfare checks and provide timely communication, guidance, and support during security or operational incidents.
- Prepare and distribute incident reports, SITREPs, security advisories, and operational updates while ensuring accurate documentation within GSOC systems.
- Support GSOC operational readiness through participation in training, exercises, shift briefings, and continuous improvement activities.
Basic Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to monitor multiple information sources and identify emerging issues or incidents.
- Experience supporting incident response processes and escalation procedures.
- Experience producing accurate written reports or incident documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor multiple information sources and identify emerging issues or incidents.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and briefing senior decision-makers
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in security management, international relations, risk management, intelligence or related fields.
- Familiarity with GSOC technologies, including: Travel tracking platforms; Security intelligence feeds; Incident management systems; & Geospatial monitoring tools
- Experience supporting travel risk monitoring, personnel tracking or duty-of-care programs
- Additional language(s) highly advantageous
