Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Coordinate and conduct regular audits of spares in the warehouse – Very crucial as this is linked to KPI with the customer.
• Arrange spares on racks and manage issuance from the warehouse.
• Be a fast learner to identify each item to ease delivery requests.
• Control inventory levels and update spares status and movement in ERP software (IBM Maximo). Training will be provided.
  
  

• Deliver equipment and spares within UAE to specified site locations as required.
• Provide 24x7 logistics on-call support to customers – Very crucial as this is linked to KPI with the customer.
• Handle mission packing and ensure safe handling of equipment – Very crucial as this is linked to KPI with the customer.
• Pick up and drop spares between sites (Site A – Site B and vice versa).
  
  

• Coordinate shipment clearance and pickup from forwarders/customs.
  
  

• Operate forklift for moving items within the warehouse (training can be provided by a certified agent).
• Handle pallet trolleys, table trolleys, and other warehouse handling equipment efficiently.
  
  

• Liaise with Maintenance team and Anchor Station team for timely delivery within Yahsat premises.
• Coordinate with team members for smooth functioning of warehouse operations.
  
  

• Physical fitness is essential as the role involves loading and offloading terminals from military trucks and working under outdoor environmental conditions.
  
  

• Graduation/Diploma in warehouse management or logistics
• Forklift & driving license is mandatory.
• Certification related to Packing & warehouse operations will be added advantage.
• COSHH or related certification will be added advantage.
