As a Warehouse Supervisor & Forklift Operator, you play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and manage the workflow within the warehouse environment.
• Operate forklifts for loading, unloading, and transporting warehouse inventory items.

• Coordinate shipping and receiving operations and resolve any related issues promptly.

• Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff performance and provide feedback.
• Coordinate with other departments to achieve and maintain warehouse operational goals.
• Handle receiver and picker responsibilities when required to ensure team support.
• Lead warehouse meetings regularly to address operational concerns and updates.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment is maintained consistently.
• Plan and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations effectively.
• Exercise proper maintenance of warehouse equipment including forklifts and conveyers.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar relevant role is required.
• Certification in forklift operation with expertise in various forklift types necessary.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures with an emphasis on safety.
• Excellent managerial and supervisory skills for effective team leadership needed.
• Proficient in inventory and warehouse management software and dependable computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent with additional training in logistics preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach in managing tasks.
