Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety standards are met.
• Supervise and direct warehouse staff to optimize productivity and morale.
• Coordinate receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
• Maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels and accountability.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the warehouse.
• Conduct regular audits and quality checks to uphold product integrity and warehouse standards.
• Develop and administer staff schedules, and manage time-off requests effectively.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders, inventory, or deliveries promptly.
• Collaborate with management to plan and implement warehouse projects and improvements.
• Train and mentor new and existing warehouse staff on policies and best practices.
• Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance and propose actionable insights for enhancements.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the warehouse, tools, and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills in managing a diverse warehouse team.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and the ability to enforce safety standards.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with various stakeholders.
