Business Unit Overview:

Talent Acquisition enables Mubadala to have the right talents, in the right place, at the right time and in the right way.

Mobility transitions our talent into new assignments across the world, to develop organizational and individual capability for the long term.

We advise and guide our managers and support our people to have a great experience, ensuring compliance with Mubadala Policy, Host Company and Host Country regulations.

What you will do:

Job Purpose (the Challenge)

  • To lead the delivery of Mobility service globally, ensuring that secondments are deployed on time, structured in line with policy, whilst ensuring tax and visa compliance, executed in line with governance and whilst providing customers with an excellent experience of Mobility.
  • To support delivery of change projects within the overall change programme and ongoing continuous improvement of Mobility.

Key Deliverables

Strategic Leadership

  • Act as part of the TA leadership team contributing to the strategy for Talent Acquisition
  • Continuously monitor and benchmark the market and competitor’s performance to identify opportunities to improve or outcompete.

Mobility Leadership

  • Business Engagement: partner with Talent Partners to engage the Business Units to understand needs and translate this to effective Mobility solutions.
  • Customer Experience: ensure that all Business Leaders, Hiring Managers and Secondees have an excellent experience with Mobility
  • Mobility Service Delivery: day-to-day management of service delivery to customers
  • Mobility Operations: ensure the effective running of key activities that enable the Mobility Service
  • Mobility Advisory: provide value to the team in delivering advice and insight to support structing of secondments and ensuring tax, visa compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Management Information: provide relevant and insightful MI to support operation of Mobility and communications to customers and stakeholders
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and leverage industry and market developments to improve performance

AI & Digital Enablement

  • Oversee the enablement and use of AI and digital solutions to improve mobility operations, reporting, and service delivery.
  • Partner with Technology and People Systems to ensure solutions are well‑governed, scalable, and compliant.

Stakeholder Management

  • Drive internal partnership with key Mubadala stakeholders (Division Heads & Leadership, Human Capital, Procurement, Finance, Business Services, Technology)
  • Drive partnership and ensure service delivery from 3rd party delivery partners – Tax, Relocation, Visas Services, Global Healthcare.

People Leadership

  • Ensure all people are motivated and engaged with the mission of Mubadala and the transformation.
  • Coach and develop Mobility Partners to perform at the right level and improve their capability to deliver the service.
  • Ensure that all resources have the right levels of capability, certifications and are utilized correctly.

Governance

  • Ensure all people are managed fairly in line with Mubadala policy.
  • Ensure compliance with all impacting regulations and governance, address any potential deviations immediately.

What will you bring:

Education & Experience:

  • Degree educated
  • Approx. 10+ years’ experience in Human Capital for large multinational companies, with complex operations ideally in the investment, real estate, financial services sectors.
  • 5 plus years leadership experience managing people to deliver human capital services in the UAE.
  • Proven ability to lead small teams to deliver services in complex and dynamic circumstances and deliver the agreed objectives.
  • Good understanding of the key elements of a Mobility and best practice. (Demand Planning, Policy & Process, Tax, Visas, Secondment Agreements, Relocation, Healthcare).
  • Capable to engage and manage relationships with clients up to C level
  • Experience of working in dynamic and changing business scenarios.
  • Proven ability to lead teams across culture, inspire, motivate and to develop the capability and performance of their people.
  • Excellent spoken and written Arabic and English.
