Job Description

A Van Sales Executive in the food trading industry is a dynamic and pivotal role focused on driving sales and fostering relationships with clients through direct engagement. Responsibilities

  • Drive van sales within an assigned territory to meet the company’s objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through door-to-door visits.
  • Manage and optimize product displays to maximize customer interest and sales.
  • Provide feedback on customer needs, competitive activity, and pricing trends.
  • Negotiate sales agreements and handle customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
  • Track sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
  • Ensure accurate fulfillment of orders and timely delivery of goods to clients.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams for inventory management.
  • Implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market reach.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to sales strategy discussions.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and provide training to clients.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a sales position, preferably within the food industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in previous roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
  • Proficiency in sales software and office suite applications.
  • Flexibility to work various hours and travel as needed within the territory.
