Job Description

As a Van Sales Executive in the Food Trading sector, you will play a crucial role in driving sales for our company by selling a variety of food products directly to retailers and businesses. This position is pivotal to strengthening relationships with our existing clients and expanding our customer base through effective sales techniques and exceptional customer service. A successful candidate should have a sound knowledge of the food trading industry, be highly motivated, and possess strong communication skills. You will be responsible for managing your sales route, ensuring that our products are delivered on time, and providing a professional service that enhances customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your efforts will help to ensure that our products reach the market efficiently, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.


Responsibilities

  • Visit a specified route daily to sell and distribute food products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Develop strategies to enhance sales and attract new business consistently.
  • Take inventory of merchandise, and ensure accurate stock level management.
  • Maintain the vehicle in excellent condition, ensuring regular maintenance checks.
  • Provide customers with prompt and professional services to meet their needs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products and handle any related queries or concerns.
  • Collect payments on time and keep meticulous records of transactions and deliveries.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the management team.
  • Gather and report market and customer information, and provide feedback on trends.
  • Engage in regular training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Represent the company positively at all times, ensuring an excellent company image.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a sales executive or similar role in the food industry.
  • Strong understanding of the retail and food service markets and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to operate and maintain multiple types of vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Capable of multitasking, working under pressure, and meeting sales targets consistently.
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively as required by the job.
  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record are mandatory.
