Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Van Sales Executive to join our food trading team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth in designated areas by managing existing accounts and acquiring new clients. This role involves regular travel to meet customers directly, understanding their needs, and presenting them with our diverse food product offerings. As a Van Sales Executive, you will play a critical role in boosting sales performance, enhancing customer satisfaction, and achieving company sales targets. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the assigned territory.
  • Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the sales manager on a regular basis.
  • Conduct regular visits to clients to ensure customer satisfaction and promote product offerings.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and convert leads into successful sales transactions.
  • Provide daily sales reports and updates to the sales manager and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's product range and new product launches.
  • Implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue in a competitive marketplace.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with clients to secure favorable sales deals.
  • Coordinate with the delivery and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, exhibitions, and trade fairs to enhance skills and product knowledge.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the food trading industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to successfully close sales deals.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while on the road.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing sales activities.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required for use of company vehicles.
  • Proficiency in using sales tracking software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory to meet clients regularly.
