Job Description

The Van Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of a direct sales strategy. The position involves traveling within designated territories, promoting and selling products directly from the company van. A Van Sales Assistant must possess excellent communication skills, a persuasive nature, and a keen understanding of customer needs. Your efforts will directly impact sales growth and customer satisfaction as you interact with a diverse clientele. Responsibilities

  • Drive the company van within assigned territories to reach potential customers effectively.
  • Demonstrate and sell products directly from the van, meeting daily sales targets.
  • Maintain a detailed record of sales interactions and transactions for accountability purposes.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Monitor inventory levels of products in the van, restocking as required to meet sales demands.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance service satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to strategize and implement effective sales tactics.
  • Stay informed about competing products and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Ensure the sales van is maintained in excellent condition, performing routine checks and cleanliness.
  • Comply with all company and industry regulations while conducting sales operations.
  • Participate in training sessions to continually improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is preferred.
  • Valid driving license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage daily sales activities efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with sales software and tools is an advantage.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
