UX Content Lead

Role Summary

We’re looking for a UX Content Lead to own the voice and language layer across Botim’s consumer and business products. You’ll shape how millions of users understand and trust our financial services — from onboarding flows to high-stakes moments like cross-border transfers. This role sits within the Design team and reports to the Head of Design.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, purposeful UX copy across consumer and B2B products — onboarding, transactions, error states, notifications, and compliance messaging.
• Own Botim’s content strategy and voice guidelines, ensuring consistency across the product pillars.
• Lead localisation efforts across English, Arabic, Urdu, and Filipino — going beyond translation to ensure cultural and contextual relevance in each market.
• Build and maintain AI-augmented content workflows — using LLMs and prompt engineering to scale copy production, A/B test variations, and maintain brand voice at speed.
• Partner with UX designers, researchers, product managers, and compliance to ensure content meets regulatory requirements across UAE, Philippines, and Pakistan.
• Define ethical nudging principles for financial products, ensuring AI-generated or AI-assisted content doesn’t push users toward inappropriate outcomes
  
  

• 5+ years of UX writing or content design experience, with work spanning both consumer and business/enterprise products.
• Proven experience in localisation — you’ve shipped products in multiple languages and understand the difference between translation and true local adaptation.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and workflows (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, custom prompts) to accelerate content creation, review, or testing.
• Strong understanding of fintech, payments, or regulated industries — you know how to write for moments that carry financial or emotional weight.
• Excellent collaboration skills across cross-functional teams in a fast-moving product environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating clear, user-centred writing across different surfaces and contexts.
  
  

• Experience with design systems and content tokens — structuring copy as reusable, machine-readable components.
• Familiarity with the MENA or South/Southeast Asian markets.
• Background in prompt engineering or building AI-assisted editorial pipelines.
