What kind of profile are we looking for?
Hands on experience in operation and maintenance of Boiler House Machineries and other equipment’s on the site, Thermal fluid heater, Air Compressor and Dryers, Pumps, Softener, water treatment etc.
Knowledge of electrical / Mechanical controls, power circuit, Automation circuit, etc.
Basic expertise in trouble shooting electrical / Mechanical, repairing, servicing of equipment’s, pumps, valve, regulators. Etc.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, electricals drawings/ mechanical drawings, etc.
Knowledge of boiler water quality analysis, chemical handling and other fuel handling procedure.
Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations in the country.
Knowledge of HSE policies, food safety and Firefighting / Safety Emergency procedures.
Knowledge of Asset Management in Food / FMCG Industry.
Basic communication.
Knowledge of SAP.
Microsoft - word, excel and Power point
Understanding of analytical tools PDCA, RCA, 5s,
Knowledge in Mechanical/Electrical control/Automation/PLC, BMS, DCS, SCADA, HMI control system.
Flexibility in working hours.
Flexibility in skills and support other areas.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a Multicultural Team.
Minimum 2 year Technical course in Mechanical /Electrical/Electronic Engineering field
Minimum 3 years of experience in Operation and Maintenance of Boilers, Air Compressor in Food / FMCG industry.
What will you be doing at MBRF?
Utilities Operation, ensures continues and efficient operation in Boiler house machines (Boiler, Thermal fluid heater, Air compressor and utilities equipment) and are maintain in perfectly and Safe Working Condition.
Check equipment and maintain to basic condition,
Ensure electrical/mechanical operations, consumption, standards and control are maintained at high quality.
Adhere to Corrective, Preventive, Scheduled Maintenance and Kanban system,
Carryout daily routine works, Parameters monitoring, Laboratory Analysis, maintain reports and records of activity, housekeeping in the areas.
Comply with safety guidelines and procedures. (HSE).
Ensure proper handling of chemical products, tools and use of appropriate PPE
Comply with HSE and food safety HACCP requirements and pre-requirements within the workplace.
Comply with all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements within the workplace.
Ensure GMP and 5S compliance within the workplace.
Comply with Good Manufacturing Process and Food Defense requirements, and other applicable procedure related to the scope of the job.
Reduce the mean time of repair (MTTR) in the lines, through effective presence in the line.
Analyze and report any anomalies, complete notifications M1, M2 and M3 in the PM system and confirm orders
Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines, ensure adherence to BRF Sustainability Plan through activities in its routines that promotes compliance with the indicators and global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments of the Company, ensuring the connection between its actions and sustainable development in the BRF chain.
What competencies are key to this role?
Utilities Operations & Maintenance Expertise: Hands-on experience operating and maintaining boilers, thermal fluid heaters, air compressors, pumps, water treatment systems, and related utility equipment.
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues, while applying root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement methodologies.
Health, Safety & Compliance Orientation: Strong understanding of HSE requirements, chemical handling, PPE usage, firefighting procedures, food safety standards, HACCP, GMP, and regulatory compliance.
Technical & Analytical Capability: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, electrical/mechanical schematics, and work with control systems such as PLC, SCADA, DCS, BMS, and SAP.
Teamwork & Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, maintain strong working relationships, and demonstrate flexibility in working hours, responsibilities, and supporting other operational areas.
