We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Ultrasound Technician to join our medical imaging team. As an Ultrasound Technician, you will be responsible for using sophisticated equipment to create precise and reliable images of structures and fluids within the body, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your expertise and keen eye for detail will play a vital role in patient care, ensuring accurate images are securely transmitted to physicians for analysis. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized ultrasound examinations accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and operate ultrasound equipment to capture quality images per procedure protocols.
• Review and analyze images to provide preliminary findings for physicians’ interpretation.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety by explaining procedures and answering questions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and imaging procedures.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records and ultrasound reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper equipment maintenance protocols.
• Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on equipment and imaging procedures regularly.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• Valid certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• At least two years of professional experience in ultrasound imaging.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with healthcare teams and patients.
• Excellent technical skills in operating and troubleshooting ultrasound equipment.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Able to handle confidential patient information with integrity and discretion.
