Other Responsibilities:
Oversight on day-to-day ULD stock levels across the network and hub in order to balance under stock and over stock stations
Monitoring overall hub ULD compliance, including uplift compliance as well as recall compliance across the network
Champion ULD stock take compliance, maintaining data analysis and deliver reports, enabling trend analysis and provide suggestions on corrective or preventive actions
Accountability for OAL demurrage
Processing of ULD invoices as well as managing procurement tenders
Accountabilities
Responsible for maintaining up to date ULD content for EY operation manuals (CSM and GOM) and provide advance information to manual owners in the event of change
Initiating and follow up with external stakeholders (e.g. GHA) on charge back policy for damaged and lost ULD in order to mitigate cost to EY
To ensure safety through process delivery, controls and monitoring that ULD and third party GHA suppliers use only serviceable ULD on EY aircraft ensuring the legally required safety standard as per GCAA, JAR, FAA and international CAA regulations
Communicates with all the stakeholders (GHAs, GSAs, Trucking providers, ULD service provider, operations, customer service etc.).
Carry out task related audits as required
Make day-to-day operational decisions to manage and mitigate operational safety and security-related risks associated with assigned tasks, through effective evaluation and decision-making based on conditions, hazards and threats.
Escalate medium or higher-level risks to appropriate management level personnel.
Education & Experience
Minimum High School Diploma.
Must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of air cargo industry gained over a period of not less than 3 years, with a proven track record in cargo operations and customer contact/customer relation awareness.
Good written and fluent verbal communication skills in English
