Overview Of The Role:

The Shopping Experience Representative is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service at the Info desk and other customer-facing areas. They handle transactions, address customer inquiries, and ensure a smooth shopping experience by providing necessary tools and guidance. Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction, accuracy of transaction handling, and effective problem resolution. Additionally, the representative plays a critical role in maintaining safety in the Smaland play area and handling returns and exchanges in a manner that aligns with company policy.

What You Will Do:

  • Follow the SOP for cash handling, receiving payments by various methods, ensuring accurate transaction processing.
  • Count and record the float before and after trading to ensure accurate cash handling.
  • Greet and welcome customers, ensuring shopping tools and catalogues are available, and assist with bags/trolleys as needed.
  • Attend to customers needs efficiently to minimize queues and enhance their shopping experience.
  • Handle routine complaints courteously to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Explain Smaland admission policy and ensure child safety within the area.
  • Make necessary announcements to inform or assist customers as needed.
  • Adhere to all system procedures according to policy and procedure.
  • Book services such as Home Delivery and Assembly, and track out-of-stock items.
  • Handle returns and exchanges using judgment and management policies to retain customers.
  • Report incidents like product faults or safety issues to management.
  • Prepare and analyze transaction reports for trends, profitability, and store performance.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive and customer-focused attitude.
  • Fluency in English with a preference for bilingual skills in Arabic.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar customer service role.
  • Proven ability to solve problems and handle complaints effectively.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
