Trainer

Job Description

To deliver high quality and standardised training to cabin crew, pilots, and other Etihad and third-party personnel as required and to the relevant regulations, training manuals and business objectives. The job holder is expected to develop and deliver effective and efficient training material, courses, and projects as required.

Accountabilities

• Deliver all training courses according to the approved lesson plan/trainer guides and regulatory requirements (GCAA) where applicable.
• Ensure that all trainees are able to demonstrate competency and understanding by meeting the required standard throughout their training via the required assessment criteria and by observing knowledge, skills and attitudes.
• Provide feedback to the management team on training materials and raise any feedback based on trends in trainee performance and make recommendations for improvement.
• Manage the trainees throughout the entire training course and provide coaching, written and verbal feedback to improve individual’s performance. Where necessary make recommendations regarding individuals who are unable to meet the required standards.
• Adhere to the specific requirements of the trainer guide including use of the CLS, iTrain, Assessment criteria and raise any concerns to a member of the management team.
• Ensure that all administrative duties are completed in a timely manner (SnapShots, Training Records, follow up emails including use of the CLS, iTrain, Assessment criteria and raise any concerns to a member of the management team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum – Current Crew Member and member of the training department on a part time basis.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Cabin Crew trainer for Etihad Airways.
• Desirable – Previous experience in an Airline Crew training department/Hospitality and Service Industry as a trainer or content developer.
