The Textile Sourcing Executive plays a pivotal role in the procurement and management of textile materials required for our production operations. This position is responsible for developing and managing vendor relationships to ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of high-quality textiles. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the textile industry, including market trends, fabric types, and quality standards. They will leverage their expertise to source textiles globally, negotiate pricing, and oversee the logistics of transporting materials. This role also requires close collaboration with the design, production, and logistics teams to ensure that material specifications are met and that the production schedule is maintained. Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable prices and conditions.
• Monitor market trends to anticipate price fluctuations and supply chain disruptions.
• Collaborate with the design team to understand fabric requirements for new collections.
• Ensure all sourced textiles meet the company's quality standards and specifications.
• Manage and track inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to optimize transportation and delivery of textile materials.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers globally.
• Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations to ensure consistent supply quality.
• Assist in the development of sourcing strategies aligned with business and sustainability goals.
• Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities and supplier performance to management.
• Respond promptly to production floor inquiries related to textile availability and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in textiles, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in textile sourcing, procurement, or a similar role.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management with suppliers.
• Excellent understanding of textile materials, quality standards, and market dynamics.
• Strong analytical skills for assessing supplier performance and market trends.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with suppliers and internal teams effectively.
• Willingness to travel for supplier evaluations and on-site factory visits as required.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
