Job Title: Test Analyst Manual- Community Banking & Digital Transformations

Job Location: Abu Dhabi

Job Role

  • 9+ years of Strong Experience in Core Banking systems, Vision Plus, BSI CRM, Visa & Mastercard Simulators, Internet Banking testing, Mobile Banking testing, Scheme certifications , Compliance Testing & ATM, ITM Testing.
  • Understanding the User story and raise clarification with PO if any
  • Preparing all the testing artifacts like, Test cases, Test scenarios, Test closure report, Test plan document, RTM, defect sheet
  • Completing the targeted test execution on time.
  • Preparing and sending daily status report
  • Raising defects and tracking the same till closure
  • Supporting other team members whenever needed
  • Performing sanity testing and documentation of test results for the changes received and managing the UAT environment.
  • Participating the activities of the Software Testing quality control gates in a manner that confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability, and legal compliance is maintained while utilization of ADIB, ITD infrastructure.
  • Participate bank testing cycles process including projects and business as usual with cost effective plans and methodologies.
  • Working with Head of Testing to ensure that all ADIB applications are free from defects and meet business requirements before their release into production environment.
  • Ensuring the availability of related test environment applications and Integrated Systems required for Software Testing.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Verifying Testing requests to ensure high level of coverage and quality.
  • Verifying and validating supporting documents like business requirements, user stories Implementation Specification, Impact Analysis Documents, etc.….
  • Perform Sanity testing, SIT and UAT.
  • Ensure test coverage and quality of ADIB application releases, projects, enhancements, and bug fixes are in place and respective testing suits are also developed as appropriate.
  • Maintain the Hardware and Software inventory of ADIB testing devices, servers, applications, database, and storages.
  • Escalate / mitigate the risks and resolves issues that affect release schedule and quality pro-actively.
  • Execute test cases of respective applications to ensure application are delivered on time and meet expectations.
  • Review and Understand all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes.
  • Supporting the testing of patch management like, OS and DB patches as per ADIB patching process.
  • Participate Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/ No-Go reviews.
  • Continually work towards making improvements in the Testing models and methodologies.
  • Defect tracking and bug fixes testing.
  • Collect Defect Report from Test Engineer and review the defects noticed in the application with Head of Testing chapter.
  • Maintain information security related to ADIB, throughout the period of employment.
  • As soon as possible, report any potential or actual risks or incidents affecting the security of information to the helpdesk.
  • The incumbent is responsible to take ownership and maintain documented processes or documentation related to his job function.
  • Understanding the requirements and design of the module or sub-system
  • Developing and implementing test plans and test cases
  • Coordinating testing activities with other teams such as development and project management
  • Managing and leading a team of testers
  • Identifying and reporting any bugs or issues that are found during testing
  • Ensuring that the module or sub-system meets the required quality standards
  • Communicating testing progress and results to stakeholders
  • Monitoring logs in the OPENSHIFT platform for RCA of requests submitted or failed.
  • Performing system checks for CIAM before Performance Testing. Performing Sanity, Functional, Integration, System, and Compactibility Testing.
  • Resolve queries and data requirements from Support Teams
  • Ensure Problem reporting, tracking, and corrective actions for the system.
  • Update bugs in the bug tracking system (JIRA) and retest resolved bugs on each release.
  • Reports Test Results, monitors, and updates bug reports.
  • Preparing and Identifying data for the execution of the Regression Test Cases.
  • Preparing reports at the end of every release based on issues raised and timelines.
  • Analyzing the issue when functionality fails, finding the Root Cause and reporting to the particular team, and getting it fixed and retested.
  • Understanding the user stories, Business Requirement Document & Functional Specification Document, based on which Test cases are written and executed.
  • Testing of BAU tickets for a Change Request from Business in SIT and UAT Environment.
  • Preparation of Closure Activities with Sign off from Business and particular entities so as the release can be pushed in Pilot and then in Production.
  • Demo to business or stakeholders for the new functionality implemented after the closure of SIT and UAT testing.

Experience & Education

  • 9+ years of experience in Cards and Payment / Banking domain. Software testing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree or Engineering or equivalent in IT related.
  • Expert in Mobile app and Web app testing
  • Expert in System integration testing and User acceptance testing
  • In depth knowledge of automation tools like Selenium and its architecture along with Python language
  • Having hands on experience to Test management tools like HP ALM, JIRA and Spira.
  • Sound domain knowledge of Vision plus System and functional testing on cards platform.
  • Sound domain knowledge of Ethix, PRIME, BPM, CSF, PSTP, SWIFT, Filenet, AMBIT, SQL DB, ESB, Micro service
  • Sound domain knowledge of Web based application testing on cards and Loans platform
  • Extensive experience working on Agile Methodology.
  • Good exposure to IIB, MDM, BIS (Indus) and Host systems and interfaces along with PCO origination system
  • Good exposure to MasterCard Authorization simulator (MAS), MasterCard clearing simulator
  • Knowledge on different Vision Plus modules like CMS, ITS, CTA, OMS and FAS module and interfaces, generation of reports and verification of it.
  • Good exposure on BSI CRM, PCO and Agent portal over loan, card and host products.
  • In depth knowledge of SDLC, STLC and its various aspects like functionality, performance and integration
  • Expert in test strategy document preparation, Detail test plan preparation, Details test scripts preparation, regression suit preparation, Daily status report preparation, Weekly status and Monthly status report preparation and coordinating with development team to fix bugs
  • Expert in UAT test coordination directly with Business users, driving defect calls, interacting with business face to face, presenting the status reports and risk and issues to business
  • Resourceful team player and capable of delivering tasks within stringent timelines
  • Judgment skills while reporting and prioritizing software bugs in conjunction with the Development and QC Managers.
  • Ability to Interact with many stakeholders, Business users, project managers, technology heads as a business analyst in requirement gathering and analysis.
  • Ability of analyzing & understanding project scope and objectives.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and honestly in dealing with difficult issues.
  • Good Knowledge of IT systems, quality and software testing tools and Quality Control techniques.
  • Ability to bring benefits of IT to solve business issues while managing costs and risk.
  • Formal training in Software Testing and IT quality control practices preferred.
  • Knowledge in software development lifecycle preferred
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion.
  • Demonstrated effective quality personnel and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of banking processes.
  • End to End Testing of Banking applications for Digital Channels like Internet Banking and MobileBanking.
  • Integration Testing of Core Banking Software, Card Management System (Debit Card), Intellect
  • Payment gateway, Credit Card Management System (Prime), and Business Process Management System.
  • API testing through POSTMAN.
  • Planning about how testing should happen for release.
  • Analyzing the testing plan with the impact on surrounding systems such as Database, BPM flows,Debit Card
  • Management System, Credit Card Management System (PRIME), Payment Management System(Intellect and SWIFT), and Core Management System (Ethix).
  • Analyzing GL entries for transactions and bill payments with confirmation of transactions pending before and posted after the EOD process.
  • Analyzing Banking Services and Request in BPM portals for end-to-end service for requests submitted from the mobile app.
  • Experience in managing Databases for applications in different environments as SIT, UAT.
  • Analyze, solve & correct issues in real-time.
  • Expert n Day Zero Activity & Sanity Testing and SOD/EOD Activities.
  • Compatibility Testing.
  • Knowledge on User Registration and Pre-Login Scenarios, Internal Bank Fund Transfer, Within UAE Fund Transfer, External Fund Transfer, Utility Bill Payments.
  • Knowledge on Easy Instalment Plan for Credit Card.
  • Knowledge on IPO, E Dirham Card Top-up and Charity Payment System.
  • Knowledge on Mastercard and Visa Simulator, ATM, ITM
