Core Accountabilities
Perform daily weapon assembly and cleaning tasks, ensuring all work meets production targets, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational requirements across both processes.
Support Senior Technician by assisting in the coordination of daily activities and ensuring timely and efficient task completion.
Ensure availability of tools, materials, and instructions for assigned tasks, and promptly report any shortages or issues.
Monitor product quality throughout the cleaning and assembly processes, identifying and reporting any defects or non-conformities for corrective action.
Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines, actively contributing to a safe work environment and encouraging team compliance.
Assist with troubleshooting operational issues or equipment malfunctions, escalating concerns to the appropriate Senior Technician.
Maintain clean, organized, and efficient workspaces by applying lean manufacturing principles to both assembly and cleaning areas.
Support inventory management by checking components, consumables, and materials regularly and reporting discrepancies to relevant departments.
Collaborate with departments such as Quality and planning to align daily tasks with production schedules and operational goals.
Monitor team attendance, time-off requests, and performance, and escalate any concerns to the relevant Senior Technician.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment by promoting teamwork, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and recommending practical solutions to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Actively participate in safety programs including audits, toolbox talks, and other safety-related initiatives.
Operate within the scope of authority delegated by Senior Technicians, escalating issues to higher management when required.
Experience & Educational Qualifications
Diploma degree in Engineering (Manufacturing/Mechanical /Production) or related equivalent experience/qualifications.
2+ years of experience in increasingly responsible management roles within Operations.
at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in a production environment, with a specific focus on both handwork assembly and cleaning operations.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proven track record of enhancing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) culture
Key Skills
