MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Develop, write, and maintain technical manuals for upgraded vehicles, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
• Translate engineering drawings, specifications, and technical data into structured, easy-to-understand documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering and relevant stakeholders to obtain technical information.
• Create schematics, diagrams, and visual aids to support technical content.
• Ensure that all technical manuals developed align with applicable standards, contractual requirements, and internal procedures, and maintain consistency in terminology, formatting, and style.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions to maintain an up-to-date understanding of the vehicle systems and configurations.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders, including Engineering, Quality, and the Customer, into documentation updates.
• Maintain version control of written technical manuals in accordance with Company documentation standards.
• Ensure that all technical manuals are structured to support usability, including logical organisation, indexing, and cross-referencing.
• Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes, tools, and templates for enhanced efficiency and quality.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company documentation.
• Understand the management-approved Risk Framework and actively participate in the Risk Management Program.
• Identify and report potential risks related to the documentation and technical manual process.
• Support other members of the Quality team and perform additional duties as directed by the Assistant Manager, Documentation.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum of two years experience in a related field.
• Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Visio.
• Proficiency in design software for parts image creation, such as AutoCAD or Adobe Illustrator.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills with the ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive content.
• Native communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Effective communication skills in Arabic, both written and verbal, preferred.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid UAE driver’s license.
