What You Can Expect

The Technical Service Manager – Gas Treatment is responsible for driving sustainable business growth and supporting the successful application of gas treatment solutions across the Middle East and Central Asia. The role combines technical expertise, business development, and customer engagement to support OASE® technologies, optimize plant performance, identify growth opportunities, and build long-term partnerships within the gas processing industry.

Duties will include the following:

• Drive business development and support growth initiatives across gas treatment markets, including natural gas, LNG, syngas, refinery tail gas, flue gas, biogas, and hydrogen applications
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, licensors, engineering contractors, and industry partners
• Support the licensing and implementation of gas treatment technologies and provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead and support pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, performance testing, and optimization of gas treatment units
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and operational recommendations to improve plant performance and reliability
• Conduct process audits, shutdown support, performance evaluations, and continuous improvement studies
• Manage solvent reclaiming activities, amine quality management, and filtration system optimization
• Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to customer operations and maintenance teams
• Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, product management, and other business units to deliver integrated customer solutions
• Monitor market developments, competitive activities, and industry trends to support business strategy and identify growth opportunities
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, technical forums, customer events, and trade exhibitions
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, process improvement initiatives, and technical capability development across the business
  
  
  

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering; MBA or postgraduate qualifications are advantageous
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in process engineering, gas treatment, gas processing, or related industrial applications
• Strong knowledge of Acid Gas Removal, Amine Treating, CO₂ Capture, and Gas Purification technologies
• Experience supporting the design, commissioning, operation, optimization, or troubleshooting of gas treatment facilities
• Proven experience in technical marketing, business development, customer engagement, or technical sales
• Strong understanding of natural gas, LNG, syngas, refinery, hydrogen, biogas, or flue gas processing applications
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process optimization skills
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Ability to work independently within multicultural and cross-functional environments
• Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively, mobilize on short notice, and support customers across the Middle East and Central Asia regions
