Team Lead
Responsibilities:
- Plan, allocate, and supervise daily team tasks, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve operational targets.
- Monitor team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, accuracy, on-time delivery, and cost, and implement corrective actions when required.
- Ensure all warehouse activities—including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control—are completed accurately, on schedule, and properly recorded in the system.
- Extract daily reports from the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and organize data in Excel according to operational requirements.
- Analyse operational data and reports, manage reconciliations, and perform data cleaning to maintain accurate records.
- Support data-entry activities and ensure the Warehouse Management System (WMS) is updated accurately and on time.
- Maintain quality and process standards in accordance with company SOPs, client requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock checks, and investigation of inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate with clients and maintain strong working relationships to support customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional business.
- Coordinate with packing material suppliers and the procurement team to ensure the timely availability of required materials.
- Supervise and lead relocation operations, ensuring services are delivered to customers accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Ensure QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) and security policies and procedures are implemented and maintained, taking prompt corrective action when necessary.
- Supervise, train, and support team members to achieve high individual and team performance in line with company objectives.
- Maintain team discipline, including attendance management and compliance with uniform, PPE, and workplace conduct requirements.
- Escalate potential operational issues, risks, and improvement opportunities to the Supervisor.
- Perform any other related duties or projects assigned by management from time to time to meet business requirements.
Qualifications & Characteristics:
Education – Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
Work Experience – 2–4 years of experience in warehousing, contract logistics, or supply chain operations, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
