Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in the growth and success of an organization by identifying, attracting, and acquiring the best talent. This position requires a dynamic, organized, and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about sourcing and hiring diverse and top-tier candidates to fill roles across various functions within the company. The ideal candidate for this role will be knowledgeable about industry trends, skilled in building relationships with candidates and hiring managers, and adept at using innovative sourcing strategies. This individual will also be responsible for coordinating with department managers to understand each position's hiring needs and goals, and for developing an effective recruitment plan to attract quality candidates. This is a highly visible role that requires excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Collaborate with department managers to understand specific hiring needs and positions’ responsibilities.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, and networking.
  • Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Maintain and develop a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and the interview panel.
  • Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collect and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
  • Negotiate job offers, compensation packages, and start dates with successful candidates.
  • Manage and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to monitor candidates' progress.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and recruitment.
  • Partner with HR and management to forecast future talent needs based on business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting and hiring high-performance candidates.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR databases preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage cross-functional initiatives effectively.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and best recruitment practices.
