Job Title: System and Storage Engineer

Job Location: Abu Dhabi

Job Description:

Systems to be handled:

xFusion Server
Huawei storage
Commvault Backup

Roles & Responsibilities :

Minimum 3 years of working experience in Servers and Storages.
Experience with storage raid technologies.
Experience with SAN switching and provisioning of Storage LUNs.
Experience with backup technologies and protocols used to integrate backup software with storages.
Experience in DR and storage replication concepts.
Experience with object storages and usage of S3 protocols.
Familiarity with storage protocols like iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, and SMB.
Ability to diagnose and solve technical issues effectively.
Experience in optimizing storage systems for performance and reliability, such as managing disk queues, IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second), and ensuring optimal throughput.
Experience in documenting server and storage configurations, troubleshooting steps, and solution workflows.
Experience with Server hardware configurations and firmware upgrades
Certifications from specific vendors (e.g., Dell EMC, NetApp, Huawei, Commvault) may also be advantageous.
Experience in vendor coordination and IT inventory management.
