Job Title: System Administrator

Job Location: Abu Dhabi

Roles & Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 E3 Administration:

• Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 E3 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and security configurations.
• Troubleshoot email, access, and collaboration issues.
• Implement policies and best practices for data security and compliance.
  
  

• Deploy, configure, and manage cloud-based services in Microsoft Azure.
• Oversee identity and access management via Microsoft Entra.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
  
  

• Manage device compliance policies, configurations, and application deployments.
• Ensure security policies are enforced for mobile devices and workstations.
• Troubleshoot Intune-related issues and maintain endpoint security.
  
  

• Administer and maintain the Commvault backup system, ensuring regular backups and disaster recovery strategies.
• Monitor backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and perform restore operations as needed.
  
  

• Manage virtualized environments, including VM provisioning, resource allocation, and performance tuning.
• Maintain VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter, and troubleshoot virtualization issues.
  
  

• Provide day-to-day IT support for infrastructure and systems.
• Monitor system health, security, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution and system improvements.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in system administration with expertise in the listed technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra, Intune, and backup solutions.
• Hands-on experience with VMware administration and IT security best practices.
• Must have experience with Commvault backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT infrastructure issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
