Job Description

As a Supply Chain Officer at our company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods, services, and information across our supply chain network. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing various logistical processes, from procurement through asset management, to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Your tasks will include enhancing supplier relationships, optimizing logistical operations, and working closely with other departments to align supply chain activities with the company’s strategic objectives. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and have a strong analytical mindset to help improve operations and reduce costs. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Develop and implement strategies for optimizing supply chain processes and activities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to streamline the supply chain.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date supply chain records and databases.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to meet demand forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies in supply chain activities.
  • Identify and resolve supply chain issues and improve efficiency and performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the supply chain network.
  • Conduct regular analysis and reporting on supply chain performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of supply chain projects and initiatives.
  • Liaise with logistics providers to optimize transportation and distribution processes.
  • Ensure that supply chain risk assessments and mitigation strategies are in place.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience working in supply chain management or logistics, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
