Supervisor

·         Regular communication with the approved entrants to the confined space under the PTW by pre-agreed communication methods.

·         Communicate with the fire control room.

·         Communication with other members of the work team as may be required

·         Reports to the Central Fire Brigade Respective Fire Team leaders.

·         Perform the responsibilities of a Fire and BA standby

          and confined space entry guard in accordance withthe requirements stated above and that of the PTW.

·         Performs all activities as a Fire and BA standby and confined space entry guard in accordance with the Company Policies, Procedures and professional standards as                  specialized personnel.

Minimum Qualifications

·         Technical Diploma in Fire related field

Minimum Experience

·         5 years’ experience

Professional Certifications

·         Diploma in fire safety certification

·         IOSH /NEBOSH Certificates

·         NFPA’s training

Minimum Requirements

·         Should be suitably qualified as a Fire and BA standby and confined space entry guard.

·         Should be medically and physically fit to carry out outdoor duties in an industrial complex.

·         Should be able read, write and communicate in English with ease and understand instructions in English.

·         Should be able to operate and communicate over the radio set / emergency telephones
