Job Purpose
Responsible for the daily shift supervision, scheduling & execution of safe operations which includes truck
offloading, tank farm and pump house operations, issuing and managing work permits, managing maintenance
and contractor activities, monitoring of control room systems, emergency response and coordinating safe
evacuation of LPG terminal staff.
Job Specific Accountabilities
Supply Operations Planning
- Assist Team Leader for preparation of LPG lifting plan as per availability of fleet, ullage in storage tanks,
bulk LPG stock requirement for bottling, etc.
- Ensure availability of all the required resources for maintaining strategic stock of bulk LPG.
Supply Operations Management
- Monitor and control safety and LPG terminal operation from Control Room using TGS, FACP, F&G,
PLC/SCADA and CCTV and shall respond to every system alarm if occurred. Records and reports any
irregularities in above systems to Team Leader.
- Analyse and record terminal operations data and maintaining all relevant logs and ensure that supply
assistant records & maintain all shift stock movement report in shift logbook.
- Participate in developing, reviewing, and improving exiting operational procedures for orientation,
training and any MOC (i.e., modification in facilities, C&E or system logics) purposes.
- Maintaining LPG tanks stock through bulk receipt from Mussafah LPG plant.
- Supervises and controls LPG offloading operation in coordination with Supply Assistants and operators
as per SOP and WI.
- Perform necessary checks like ullage in tanks, pipeline and tank gauges, meters and valves are
functional to ensure safe and secure receipt of the LPG.
- Monitor real time stock levels, coordinates with Musaffah control room and informs Team Leader for
further planning & follow-up with concerned party. Ensure strict compliance to HSEMS, SOP, WI and
ADNOC policies & procedures.
- Coordinate with Supply Assistants and Operators to ensure correct tanks / valve line up for product
receipts and issues.
- Prepare all relevant entries in ERP on daily basis (i.e. Work Notifications, Material Requests, PTNs,
etc.).
- Participates in reviewing JSAs, FRAs, Financial and Safety Audits etc.
- Informs and coordinates with HSE staff to respond to F&G alarms or other emergency scenarios,
wherever required.
- Prepare work notifications and follow-up with concern staff/contractors during any break down or
maintenance or PM activity and to issue required PTW.
- Responsible for immediately reporting all unsafe conditions, environmental incidents, unsafe
behaviours, near-miss incidents, or injuries during shift as per HSEMS.
- Responsible for accurate and timely processing of all reports including daily review of reconciliation
reports, receipt documents for products and record keeping.
- Investigate all inventory issues that are out of compliance with company standards and reports to Team
Leader.
- Assist Team Leader to ensure all discrepancies are satisfactorily resolved in a timely manner.
- Supervise and advise Supply Assistant and Operators during operation and troubleshooting of LPG
Plant, wherever necessary.
- Assist and coordinate with Plant Supervisor/Operators for smooth start-up and normal operation of
Cylinder Filling Plant during shift.
- Ensure housekeeping and proper, smooth, and trouble-free shift change over along with Supply
Assistant.
- Ensures all relevant information pertaining to the shift operations are duly updated in the eLog – Shift
handover system.
Facility Maintenance
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Ensure smooth operation of storage tanks, pump houses, vehicle offloading bays, control room,
substation and supporting utilities by maintaining a log of errors/repair works required on the
plant/equipment. Coordinate with maintenance staff for effective implantation of preventive
maintenance plans.
Inventory Management and Reconciliation
- Prepare daily and monthly report for LPG Bulk issued and enters the same in ERP and reconcile it with
concerned team.
- Assist in reconciling LPG Bulk received from Mussafah and consumed in plant with plant supervisor
and team leader.
Performance Monitoring and Improvement
- Ensure availability of all critical equipment and instrumentation in control room and field to ensure
effective utilization of Company assets.
- Identify bottleneck in the supply operation and participates in continuous improvement programs to
ensure maximum availability and efficiency.
Minimum Qualification
Minimum Qualification
- Technical Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical or other related discipline
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- 5-6 years of experience in supervising LPG supply operations or related Oil and Gas Operations
- Good knowledge of Arabic and English languages
- PC Literacy
