Coordinate and enforce having safe, secure, and environmentally-sound operations and maintenance of the assigned marinas while implementing the best practices, processes, procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision to the marina operations ensuring adherence to safety protocols, schedules and service standards.
  • Develop and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all terminal activities, including peak times and emergencies.
  • Foster a customer-centric approach among marina staff ensuring a positive and efficient experience.
  • Prepare budget estimates, project progress and cost tracking reports.
  • Supervise and validate permit and license requirements to run the facility.
  • Supervise quality control programs using LEAN methodology to standardize and optimize facility performance in line with the Global Facility Management strategy.
  • Liaise with maintenance team and supervise maintenance activities within the various functions and departments to obtain optimum production and utilization of personnel and equipment.
  • Recommend operating methods and equipment to reduce the marina management costs through new sources, substitutions, improved systems or methods, service quality and safety.
  • Provide advise with regards to contract scope/specifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Facility Management or a related field. Masters degree is a plus
  • Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage
  • A minimum of 1-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ferry terminal management or relevant facilities management experience.
  • Familiar with marine regulations and industry standards
  • Ability to understand strategic issues and hold an overall perspective of the organization.
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with presenting information to groups and managing projects.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address complex challenges and opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
