JOB PURPOSE:
supervise all wellsite completion operations including hydraulic fracturing, prefrac intervention or toe
preparation, wireline pump down perforating, frac plug milling, flowback, testing, and equipment handling
ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution in alignment with approved engineering programmes. The role
is responsible for maintaining well integrity, enforcing HSE standards, coordinating multi contractor activities,
and delivering accurate operational and cost reporting. It serves as a critical interface between field execution
and engineering, driving continuous improvement and service quality across all phases of the completion
lifecycle.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Specific:
- Supervise hydraulic fracturing activities from wireline perforation through to stage pumping, ensuring
compliance with approved designs and barrier management protocls
- Monitor pressure, rate, and sand concentration during operations; direct adjustments to maintain design
integrity and safeguard well conditions.
- Oversee coiled tubing or jointed pipe milling of frac plugs, ensuring complete debris removal and clean
wellbore readiness for flowback and testing.
- Manage rig-up/down and operation of testing equipment; supervise flowback performance, fluid returns,
and sand rates while ensuring safe and compliant disposal.
- Enforce well integrity standards, conduct inspections, test valves, monitor annulus pressures, and lead
well control responses in line with IWCF Level 4 certification.
- Uphold HSE standards, lead risk assessments, and ensure safe execution of simultaneous operations
(SIMOPS).
- Interface with Completions Engineering to align field execution with approved programmes; provide
feedback and participate in planning and reviews.
- Apply best practices, report service quality issues, support investigations, and contribute to the
development of improved operational standards.
- Supervise slickline operations and manage flow-control devices; coordinate frac-to-production tree
conversions ensuring compatibility and pressure compliance.
- Oversee installation, testing, and removal of NRVs and VR plugs, ensuring compatibility with wellhead
configurations and pressure ratings.
- Lead multi-contractor teams across wireline, frac, CT, slickline, testing, and logistics; chair daily
coordination meetings to confirm scope, hazards, and contingencies.
- Ensure accurate daily reporting, validate field data, track costs against AFE, and report variances to the
Completions Superintendent.

- Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
- Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with
ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
- Conduct regular visits to the worksites and ensure job is executed safely.
- Undertakes hazard assessment and identifies precautions for the PTW issued in their work area.
- Ensure work is carried out in line with the ADNOC HSE procedure requirements.
- Implement corrective action for Hazards and near miss reported in the area.
- Carryout the emergency responsibilities in line with the respective roles as per the emergency organization
- Be familiar with the ADNOC HSE Recognition and Accountability Framework requirements. Comply with all
applicable HSE requirements at all times. Exercise the STOP Work Authority bestowed if any unsafe act or
situation puts you or your colleagues at risk. Reports
- Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.
- Participate in Risk Assessments, HAZOP revalidations and DGS review meetings.

COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIP:
Internal:
- Interfaces with internal teams including Completions Engineering, Drilling, Production, HSE, Integrity,
and Supply Chain.
External:
Coordinates with external service providers such as frac crews, wireline, coiled tubing, slickline, flowback/testing
contractors, and logistics vendors. Chairs daily coordination meetings and ensures clear communication of
scope, hazards, and contingencies.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or equivalent technical discipline.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
6 years of experience in completions, well interventions, or stimulation operations (unconventional preferred).
Professional Certifications
- IWCF Level 4 (Well Intervention)
