Job Purpose
As a Supervisor Civil at UAE - Integrated Facility Management in Abu Dhabi, you will oversee and coordinate civil operations within the facility management scope, ensuring high-quality execution aligned with company objectives and client satisfaction.
Roles, Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead and supervise daily civil operations including irrigation system setup, landscaping execution, and site supervision ensuring compliance with QA/QC procedures and safety regulations.
- Coordinate efficiently with the MEP teams to integrate civil activities with utility services, reducing downtime and improving operational workflows.
- Manage resources, align work plans, and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines while ensuring accountability at all levels.
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery by proactively identifying problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and clients to foster transparency and collaboration.
- Ensure adherence to environmental standards and sustainable practices throughout civil operations.
- Report on operational performance, risks, and compliance issues and recommend necessary corrective actions.
Qualification
Candidates must possess a relevant degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional certifications in project management or quality assurance within civil/utility services are highly advantageous. Comprehensive knowledge of landscaping execution, irrigation systems, and facility operations is required.
Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, safety standards, and regulatory compliance within civil and utility services is essential. Proficiency in technical and data fluency tools to monitor project progress and resource allocation is expected.
A commitment to continuous professional development is valued, alongside an ability to interpret technical documents, reports, and client specifications.
Experience & Skills
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience supervising civil infrastructure or facility management projects, preferably within a multi-disciplinary environment similar to IFM (Integrated Facility Management).
Key skills include problem solving with a proactive approach to address operational challenges, strong planning and alignment abilities to manage multiple concurrent activities, and effective communication to coordinate with diverse teams and clients.
Demonstrated expertise in coordinating MEP interfaces, managing irrigation setup, and landscaping operations is critical. Experience in applying utility services knowledge to optimize performance and sustainability is essential.
The candidate should be adept at ensuring accountability and compliance, skilled in quality assurance, and able to leverage technology and data analytics to enhance decision-making.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle on-site supervision duties while maintaining high professionalism and ensuring safety standards is required.
