Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Supervisor for our fashion retail outlet, known for its high-quality apparel and exceptional customer service. As a Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, enhancing customer satisfaction, managing staff effectively, and ensuring sales targets are met. You will work closely with the management team to implement strategies that drive store performance and establish the outlet as a leader in the fashion retail sector. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a passion for fashion and retail, who can motivate a team to achieve high standards and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and have a keen ability to solve problems and make decisions to meet the demands of fashion retail.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily store operations to ensure efficient functioning.
  • Lead, mentor, and train sales staff to provide superior customer service.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained to enhance store presentation.
  • Monitor and manage stock inventory to optimize product availability.
  • Implement sales strategies and promotions to maximize store sales performance.
  • Coordinate with management to set and achieve short and long-term goals.
  • Analyze sales reports and identify trends to enhance business growth.
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Recruit and select new team members in collaboration with HR department.
  • Oversee cash management procedures and ensure compliance with finance policies.
  • Conduct routine staff meetings to communicate store goals and updates.
  • Maintain a safe and clean store environment in accordance with health regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in retail.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team interaction.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging customer situations.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, inclusive of weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in using retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
